A good friend sent me this fancy fun little game on Facebook. I found it rather thought enlightening and felt I must share and hope you will be emboldened to try for yourself.
Rules: List 15 books you've read that will always stick with you. Don't take too long to think about it; just list the first 15 you can recall in no more than 15 minutes. Tag some friends, including me (even if I didn't tag you!), because I'm interested in seeing what books my friends choose.
These are in no particular order. I cheated and included series. Also, I most likely forgot a book that changed my life and will regret being limited to 15.
."The Boxcar Children" Gertrude Chandler Warner
."The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime" Mark Haddon
."Haunted" Chuck Palahniuk
."Napalm and Silly Putty" George Carlin
."Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close" Jonathan Safran Foer
."The Boy Detective Fails" Joe Meno
."The Pilgrim at Tinker Creek" Annie Dillard
."Sex, Drugs, and Cocoa Puffs" Chuck Klosterman
."Found" Davy Rothbart
."Pastoralia" George Saunders
."Taking Care" Joy Williams
."Running With Scissors" Augusten Burroughs
."Thundercake" Patricia Polacco
."Animorphs" K.A. Applegate
."A Whole New Mind" Daniel Pink
